A romantic translation, this special piece combines a gorgeous pink tourmaline bead strand in 18k gold with a contemporary 14k paperclip chain. Captivating on its own with its combination of textures, you can also connect another chain to wrap twice around your neck and mix in additional forms and layers.
The pink tourmaline strand began in Deb's personal collection, purchased in New York as antique, but we are listing her here as vintage as we can't verify her age (though our best guess is South East Asian from 1920-1950). She is missing one of her small beads, and we constructed the paperclip chain addition in a way that is intentionally asymmetrical; honoring and playing with the story of her age, her missing bead, and the deliciously imperfect hand-faceting of her tourmalines.
We love her warmth and vitality. She may be delicate, but she can catch and throw light with the best of them, and firmly stands her ground in a neck mess.
Pink tourmaline has long been seen as a stone of emotional healing and gentle protection, a balm for your heart.

- 24.5" long, including 16" length of tourmaline and 18k and 8.75" of 14k paperclip chain (one 4" section and one 4.75")

- 74 hand-faceted tourmaline beads, each uniquely shaped with slight variation in color
- one missing bead (what would have been the 11th in the strand)
- Made so that you can clasp it anywhere from 20 to 24.5 inches
- Paperclip links are 5mm long by 2mm wide
Please note: this chain is in very good vintage condition, but few of the links have wear that evidence its long and busy life--a quality we value as part of the unique story it has to tell! It is also missing one bead.

Free Domestic Shipping
Shipping is free for all domestic, US-based purchases. Our standard is tracked and insured priority mail with USPS and tracked and insured UPS, and it is a joy to offer this service to you. If you would prefer another form of shipping, please make a note in your order when you check out and we will do our best to accommodate your request, though in some cases this may require an additional fee. All orders will be sent insured shipping via USPS priority or UPS.
International Shipping
We are located in Los Angeles, and we are very happy to ship worldwide, with the current exception of Russia and Chile. All international shipments will be sent via UPS Air. We have had a lot of issues with international shipping historically and will work with you to ensure customs etc are all handled for your package to arrive safely. Thanks for your patience and understanding on this.
Documentation & Responsibility
Please note however that we cannot be held responsible for your package once it leaves our hands, though we will of course provide you all the documentation needed from our end to file a claim in the event your package goes missing.
